Roadtrek motorhomes combine European design and German engineering with the North American spirit. Since 1990, Roadtrek has been the bestseller in the class-B segment in North America.
It all started with a man and a dream. Canadian Jack Hanemaayer dreamt of integrating the conveniences of a large motorhome with a compact campervan. His vision finally took shape in 1974: He designed his dream vehicle with a team of experienced engineers. The first Roadtrek recreational vehicle was produced in 1980 – with the famously curved roof line, sunken floors and three-part layout.
Today, Roadtrek builds its class-B models on Mercedes, Chevrolet, Ram ProMaster and Ford chassis. In addition to quality, Roadtrek also wins over customers with its compact furnishing, clever spatial concepts and countless extras, which are already included in basic models. With respect to technology, Roadtrek sets benchmarks with EcoTrek™, a lithium-battery module for more self-sufficiency and with VoltStart. The vehicle's engine is started automatically as soon as the modular battery reaches a critical charging status.
Roadtrek vehicles are only available on the North American market.
