Trainee programme

Have you written your final year dissertation and left university? Would you like to kick-start your career? Then the Erwin Hymer Group is the right place for you, because we offer you a tailor-made trainee programme.

Over fifteen months, we will get you ready to take on a responsible position within our Group and to contribute to our success. Our trainee programme is anything but the norm: we design your programme individually according to your interests and specialist subjects. As a future qualified expert or manager, you will be given responsibility in projects right from the start and contribute your ideas. You will enjoy the support of a mentor with plenty of practical experience who is thoroughly aware of all minor and major issues related to the trainee programme.

The Erwin Hymer Group trainee programme

• takes fifteen months to complete,

• starts flexibly in the summer and in the winter,

• will expand your horizon through four to five different placements, an international placement and the collaboration in international teams,

• enjoys a great reputation within the Erwin Hymer Group,

• is completed by seminars, networking events, trade fairs, production days and independent project work.

Your profile:

• University degree (bachelor's or master's) in a technical or economics subject

• Initiative, willingness to perform and goal-oriented approach to work

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with people from all hierarchy levels

• Good command of English

• Willingness to travel and flexibility as you will work at different Erwin Hymer Group sites

• You should be aiming for a specific goal, aware of your own strengths and you should already know which area you would like to specialise in

We value open communication and encourage a team spirit and networking. This is reflected in practical terms by two events which we organise every year with and for our trainees. It gives them a chance to meet and to become involved, for example in a social project. So many of our past trainees have such good memories of their time on the trainee programme that these events are even attended by our "alumni".
