GREAT TO HAVE SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES

How did you find out that Hymer offers dual education degree courses?

In the course of my research on the website of the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), I came across Hymer's homepage and found the course that is perfect for me.

What was it in particular that made you decide for Hymer?

Once I had completed my initial vocational training course, I wanted to learn more about business management and gain new experiences in the industrial area. I decided for a dual education degree course at the DHBW mainly because I believe that the way it alternates between theory and practice is perfect for me. I definitely wanted to study with a company that is internationally active as this would offer me different opportunities whilst studying – for instance spending a semester abroad. I have also been interested in camping for quite some time.

After one year with the company, how would you describe the working atmosphere?

In my opinion, it doesn't take long to feel at home in the different departments and the integration into the team works super. The students also get on really well with the vocational trainees and we usually spend our lunch breaks together.

What else are you looking forward to?

I hope that I am going to meet many more new and above all nice colleagues and that I will continue to enjoy the work.

Finally, a tip for people joining the company, please.

Be open towards new ideas: you might find many things strange at first, but don't be afraid to approach people you haven't met before! If you haven't understood something or you have a question, just ask!
