As Lead Engineer Electromobility (m/f/d) you will play a central role in global projects for eMobility. Together with your team, you will develop best practices and technologies to help shape the caravanning of tomorrow in line with our innovation strategy.

Your Tasks

  • Build and lead a global e-mobility team with resource and budget responsibility
  • Overarching leadership of global platform projects such as electrically powered trailer chassis for caravans and electrically/hybrid powered motorhomes
  • Define chassis architectures to optimize platforms for different markets and product categories
  • Research new technologies, particularly for E-drivetrain, power control and range extension as well as advanced vehicle control strategies and software
  • Supporting the development of new business models based on e-mobility
  • Support rollout and adoption of global platforms in North America as well as the EU

Your Profile

  • Completed technical university studies (or comparable) with several years of professional experience
  • Experience in leading cross-site, interdisciplinary teams preferably in the automotive industry
  • Practical knowledge in managing automotive projects, HW&SW
  • Experience with high voltage electronics
  • Distinct process competence
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • Willingness to travel internationally with team leadership on-site and remotely
  • Strong entrepreneurial character, affinity for technology combined with market and customer orientation
  • Strong systems and process thinking
